Professor Matt Bishop at the University of California Davis has collected the seminal works of the early Information Assurance research. It is an invaluable research and teaching tool. Professor Blaine Burnham of the University of Nebraska is developing a series of interviews with the founders of the Information Assurance discipline. The professional certification section of the site will explain professional certification, organizations and agencies offering the certifications, and types of IA certifications available. The Common Criteria section defines general concepts and principles of IT security evaluation and presents a general model of evaluation.
